surfdale beach

Just minutes from the front door is Surfdale Beach. One of the quieter beaches on the island, yet not far off the beaten track. This beach is tidal providing shifting views. When the tide is in there is calm and safe swimming for children or a great launch spot for water sports and boating. If you'd rather stay out of the water, take a walk around The Esplanade, an unsealed road and walkway around the point to Blackpool with stunning views all the way.

There are numerous options to choose from. One a walk away (goldieestate.co.nz) a number of others a short bus or taxi ride.
